WHAT IS QUANTUM-TOUCH?

Quantum-Touch is a major breakthrough in the art of hands-on healing. Using a light touch without physical manipulation, a Quantum-Touch practitioner amplifies their own energy with powerful body focusing and breathing techniques, creating an extremely high vibrational field of life-force energy.  Through biological entrainment, the person receiving the session will naturally resonate to the higher vibration of the practitioner. When this happens, the clients own body intelligence uses the amplified life-force energy for whatever healing is a priority. HOW DID QUANTUM-TOUCH COME TO BE?

In the early 1950s, body-worker Robert Rasmusson discovered within himself an ability to heal others. While trying to solve a young girl’s bowed-leg problem, Rasmusson intuitively tried breathing and focusing techniques. Within moments, the child’s legs straightened out. He practiced these techniques over the next 50 years, teaching them to Richard Gordon in 1978. After working together many years, Rasmusson eventually asked Gordon to take over. Gordon has been teaching and evolving the work ever since, discovering ways to amplify its results. Richard Gordon gave the practice its registered name and authored the best-selling book Quantum-Touch®, the Power to Heal (North Atlantic Books, 1999). 

WHY CALL IT “QUANTUM ”  TOUCH?

Quantum-Touch is rooted in the principles of quantum physics. Every cell in our body emits an electromagnetic pulse—a frequency. A lower frequency allows pain, and a higher one can heal it. If a person’s body can reach a higher frequency, healing begins. A Quantum-Touch practitioner can measurably increase that frequency using very specific breathing patterns and focused attention. According to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, the simple act of observation changes that which is observed. Quantum-Touch is a form of highly concentrated observation which can change the very physics and chemistry of matter. 

Quantum healing is a natural, yet seemingly miraculous, restoring of health from within which we are all capable of. Intelligence, information, and invisible units of energy (quantums) exist everywhere in our bodies, in each of our 50 trillion cells. This “network of energetic intelligence” lies deep enough to change the basic patterns that design our physiology. It extends beyond our sensory or psychological states. Quantum healing involves a shift in the fields of energy information, so as to bring about a correction in an idea that has “gone wrong.” With loving intention and proven techniques a QT practitioner can facilitate and expedite this shift in others.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A SESSION?

During a Quantum-Touch session, Karen will pointedly focus on elevating the cellular frequency of a specific muscle, joint, organ or area of pain. This is done through deep breathing methods, toning, energy vortexing, visualizing and several other powerful techniques.

The client remains fully dressed, except for leather shoes or belt. After a brief consultation of presenting problems Karen will check the alignment of the cranium, spine, and hips. With the client remaining in a standing position, she will run energy to areas of misalignment.  After that the client can either lie on the healing table or sit in a chair, whichever is most comfortable and is most conducive to Karen reaching the area of pain. The client is instructed to provide feedback as to whether pain is felt moving to another part of their body. Karen will “follow the pain” until it ultimately releases itself.

Emotions may surface during a session. A client might start to feel anxious or sad. These emotions (aspects of yourself) are begging for loving attention and expression/release. Allowing this process directly enhances and makes way for physical healing. Karen uses an advanced Quantum-Touch technique and her own intuition and experience to assist clients in releasing emotional blockages. If requested, she will incorporate Bach or Perelandra Flower Essences; Young Living Essential Oils; Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); and a fun (that’s right!) Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP) technique—all of which are extremely effective in raising vibrational frquencies,  transforming negative thought patterns, and creating inner peace and self-acceptance. 

HOW QUICKLY WILL I  HEAL?

Richard Gordon  believes that all healing is self -healing. His favorite definition of a healer is: Someone who was sick and got well. He says a great healer is: Someone who was very sick and got well quickly! Karen frequently has seen clients show amazing results, often in less than 15 minutes. However, another factor affecting the speed of healing is that a client’s body can only take a certain amount of energy at any one time for reasons we’re not privy to. Then later on, it is ready to take more. This follows the quantum physics theory that in the emission or absorption of energy, the process is not continuous but takes place by steps, each step being the emission or absorption of an amount of energy called a quantum. Baby steps or quantum leaps, it is for your loving inner wisdom to decide. Quantum-Touch works even if you actively believe it will not. Dr. Norman Shealy, founder of the American Holistic Medical Association, was clearly a skeptic at first.
